A day at the park

Once upon a time there was a little boy who loved to visit parks. One day when he was at the park, he discovered: [[a broken kite]] [[a baby owl that fell out of its nest]]

He wondered who the kite had belonged to, when suddenly [[the kite blew up into the sky]] [[a little girl came running up to him]]

The boy didn't know what to do so [[started looking up to see if he could see the parents or the nest]] [[he took off his baseball cap and carefully scooped the owl up]]

The kite kept flying higher and higher. The boy watched the kite for a little while, until it flew over a big set of trees. He decided to: [[follow the kite]] [[play on the swings which was one of his favourite things to do.]]

The little girl [[was so happy to see her kite]] [[started to cry when she discovered her kite was broken]]

She asked if the boy wanted to play with her and her kite. And he was happy to make a new friend. [[The end.]]

The boy told her that he would be happy to try and help her fix her kite. And she was happy to have a new friend. [[The end.]]
